Brennen Beemer
Mechanical Engineering student focused on design, manufacturing, aerospace, and unmanned systems. I manage Central Michigan University's 3D printing lab and founded Lab Engine, where I design tools for engineering students and build software — like the toolkit on this site.
Outside the classroom I founded and lead D.A.R.R.E. — Central Michigan University's Drone, Aviation, Rocketry, Research & Engineering club — working on UAV payload systems and autonomous aircraft. Long term, I'm aiming at aerospace: a master's program, real internship experience, and eventually contributing to organizations like NASA or other advanced engineering companies.
Currently
01Run the printers, materials, and processes that support engineering projects across campus — from student capstones to research builds.
Started Lab Engine to design and sell tools for engineering students — precision straight edges, tool holder clipboards — and have since branched out into engineering software as well.
Founded and lead CMU's combined drone, aviation, and rocketry club, working on UAV payload systems and autonomous aircraft projects.
Toolkit
02Selected Work
03STL → Holofan Video
.stl → .mp4Load a 3D model and export a seamless looping video sized for hologram-fan displays, right from the browser.
Launch tool →STL-CFD Lite
.stl → aero screenDrop in a rocket geometry and get a fast aerodynamic screening pass before committing to a full CFD run.
Launch tool →Lab Engine started as a line of physical tools for engineering students — precision straight edges, tool holder clipboards — built for classmates who needed something better than what the bookstore had. The two browser tools above are the newest branch: software alongside hardware.
Off the Clock
04Photography and videography, strength training, and generally looking for the next thing to design, print, or fly.
Let's talk
Open to internships, Lab Engine collaborations, and anything aerospace- or UAV-related.
